Sitting in a seminar with Martha Pullen on planning your business is like being in a tornado……ideas swirling, each one more creative than the last. The message I filtered out was that anything is possible but it takes thorough planning, studied preparation and constant re-evaluation to be successful. After years of putting her ideas into practice, she is so eager to share with others what works and what doesn’t. I’ve seen in Martha a woman I want to be like—strong in her faith in God, honest and caring. During my career in nursing I’ve had administrative training in “customer satisfaction.” I’ve attended several conferences and thought I understood what was being asked of staff, but after attending my first SOAF in July of 2007-I knew! I loved how special I was made to feel (even with all of the other people there) and how great it was to have a Christian atmosphere. I have tried to recreate that “special feeling” with my embroidery customers and with others I have contact with. I feel my contact with Martha Pullen has helped to make me a better person.

I’m so excited about the book being finished—things are coming together for you. I cannot wait to read it.
